Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to perform technical duties within electronic, mechanical, or systems-focused manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for conducting tests, measurements, equipment operations, process controls, troubleshooting, repairs, and other technical activities to support production and product quality.

 

Job Description

  • Perform technical duties and support projects within assigned functional work groups.
  • Conduct testing, measurements, operations, and process controls according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Apply appropriate test techniques and procedures to support key manufacturing projects.
  • Read and work from job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material.
  • Maintain, inspect, and properly operate production tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot products, processes, and programs to diagnose defects and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Repair defective products, components, and assemblies as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Identify electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
  • Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and wire termination.
  • Use appropriate manual hand tools and technical equipment.
  • Maintain working knowledge and skills in electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, and programming.
  • Operate and monitor multiple test and calibration systems simultaneously.
  • Assess and interpret test results against established specifications and requirements.
  • Perform soldering and related electronic assembly/rework tasks.
  • Follow all established procedures, processes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production and technical documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying established manufacturing principles, processes, and tools.

 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years of Electro-Mechanical Technician experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as: Multimeters/meters, Power supplies, Other electronic testing and measurement equipment
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, processes, and technical instructions.
  • Ability to evaluate test results and determine whether products meet established specifications.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and identify components.
  • Experience with wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination.
  • Ability to use a variety of manual hand tools.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate multiple testing and calibration systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-610 certification or experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with automated machinery operation and programming.
  • Experience working with electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Technical or vocational education in electronics, electrical systems, mechanical technology, or a related field.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

 

Additional requirements

  •  Shift: Monday through Friday, Either 4:00 PM to 12:00 am. or 12:00 am to 8:00 am and Weekends as required

 

Pay rate

  • $19 - $22 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
