American Made Solutions is recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Training Specialist for an established manufacturing operation in Carrollton, Georgia.

We're looking for an organized, energetic professional who enjoys developing people, delivering effective training, and helping manufacturing employees build the skills they need to succeed.

In this position, you'll coordinate and deliver training programs for production employees, maintain training documentation and certifications, and work closely with manufacturing leadership to ensure employees are prepared to perform their jobs safely and effectively.

This is a hands-on training position that requires someone who is comfortable presenting information, engaging with employees on the production floor, and managing the administrative details behind a successful training program.

We're looking for someone who can do more than organize training records. We need someone who can stand in front of a group, communicate clearly, and help employees become confident and capable in their roles.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Employee Training & Development

• Coordinate and deliver training programs for manufacturing and production employees.
• Facilitate classroom, group, and hands-on training sessions.
• Develop training materials, presentations, and instructional resources.
• Evaluate employee training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
• Support employee onboarding and ensure new hires receive required training before beginning production assignments.
• Adapt training approaches to meet different learning styles and operational requirements.
• Assist with training initiatives designed to improve employee knowledge, performance, and workplace readiness.

Training Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate employee training records, certifications, and assessments.
• Manage and update training matrices to track employee qualifications and training completion.
• Ensure training documentation remains organized, accurate, and current.
• Monitor training requirements and identify employees who need additional instruction or certification updates.
• Support the administration of training systems and related documentation.
• Assist with reporting on training completion, employee qualifications, and outstanding training needs.

Manufacturing & Cross-Functional Support

• Work closely with production operators, supervisors, managers, engineers, and environmental health and safety personnel.
• Coordinate training activities around production schedules and operational priorities.
• Respond to training requests from manufacturing leadership.
• Support initiatives focused on improving employee performance and operational readiness.
• Participate in training-related projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Help ensure training programs support established safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and workplace expectations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience delivering training, presentations, or public speaking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence presenting information to groups and interacting with employees at different organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining training records and certifications.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Flexibility to adjust training priorities based on manufacturing needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, professional approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee-related information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience delivering employee training in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, or related operations.
• 2–5 years of professional training or employee development experience.
• 2–3 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Experience developing training materials, administering assessments, and tracking employee qualifications.
• Background supporting new-hire onboarding or production employee certification programs.

Compensation & Schedule

Annual Salary: $65,381–$90,000

Compensation will be determined based on relevant training experience, manufacturing knowledge, communication skills, and qualifications.

The position primarily supports day-shift manufacturing operations but may occasionally require schedule flexibility to provide training support to night-shift employees.

This role involves a combination of classroom instruction, computer-based administrative work, and time spent in an active manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable walking, standing, and working around industrial production activities while following established safety procedures.
