Marco’s Pizza is looking for a motivated, dependable, and people-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our restaurant team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great food and service, and wants to grow within our company.

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, maintain restaurant standards, and help deliver an outstanding experience for every customer.

Compensation

• $15–$18 per hour + tip share

• Compensation is based on availability and experience

What You’ll Do

Lead the Team

• Lead and support the restaurant team during assigned shifts

• Set the example for excellent customer service and work ethic

• Coach and develop team members

• Help create a positive, respectful, and productive work environment

• Communicate expectations clearly and hold the team accountable

• Recognize team members who are doing a great job

Run Great Shifts

• Help ensure the restaurant is properly staffed and operating efficiently

• Assign positions and responsibilities during shifts

• Monitor ticket times, order accuracy, food quality, and customer service

• Jump in wherever needed during busy periods

• Ensure opening, shift-change, and closing procedures are completed correctly

• Communicate important information to the General Manager

Food & Product Quality

• Ensure all products are prepared according to Marco’s standards

• Maintain proper portioning and food preparation procedures

• Follow all food-safety and sanitation requirements

• Ensure food is fresh, accurate, and presented properly

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Customer Service

• Make sure every customer receives friendly, professional service

• Handle customer concerns and work toward positive resolutions

• Lead by example when interacting with customers

• Help create the type of experience that brings customers back

Store Standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant

• Ensure equipment and workstations are properly maintained

• Complete required cleaning and stocking duties

• Help monitor inventory and product levels

• Follow company policies, procedures, and operating standards

• Has previous restaurant or leadership experience, preferred but not required

• Is dependable and punctual

• Has strong communication and customer-service skills

• Can lead by example

• Is comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Can coach and motivate a team

• Takes ownership of their responsibilities

• Is willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Wants to continue growing as a leader
