Fire Island Pines is the largest residential community on Fire Island and includes some 600 homes and 100 co-ops. Our community has a population as high as 5,000 in the summer and about 50 in winter. Residents, renters, and guests all come here to enjoy, relax, and have fun.

With over 400 members, FIPPOA (Fire Island Pines Property Owners Association), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization, is led by elected officers and a board of directors who oversee the operations of the community and help protect the fragile ecosystem of a barrier island. Our other organization, The Pines Foundation (TPF), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity organization which raises critical funds for our local Pines programs and projects that make our community thrive, including our word famous annual event, the Pines Party.
