A leading marine service facility in Fairhaven, MA,<\/b> is looking for Experienced Marine Diesel Mechanics<\/b> to join their team. In this position, technicians will repair diesel engines from manufacturers such as <\/b>Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Northern Lights. <\/b>Preference will be given to technicians with 5+ years of experience in marine diesel repairs, ideally with product knowledge and expertise in CAT, Cummins, Detroit/MTU, or other major marine diesel systems. Minimum 5 years’ hands -on experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repair
<\/p><\/li>
Direct experience with CAT, Cummins, and/or Detroit/MTU engines
<\/p><\/li>
Marine engine experience preferred; gensets, hydraulics, and electrical knowledge a plus
<\/p><\/li>
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for use of company vehicle)
<\/p><\/li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects
<\/p><\/li>
Professional attitude, appearance, and communication skills
<\/p><\/li>
Must have your own tools and be able to meet the physical demands of the role
<\/p><\/li>
Must meet U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements
<\/p><\/li>
Experience with Northern Lights, marine hydraulic systems, gensets, and marine electrical components is preferred
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
