A leading marine service facility in Richmond, CA is seeking Experienced Marine Diesel Mechanics<\/b> to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected organization known for delivering top -tier service and technical expertise within the marine industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine diesel engines and related systems across a variety of vessels. You’ll work with leading manufacturers such as Cummins, Volvo Penta, Northern Lights, John Deere, Yanmar, Steyr, and Hamilton Jet<\/b>. This is primarily a shop position, but requires the occasional field/customer onsite (Dock/Marina) repairs.

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>
<\/h3>- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine diesel engines and related systems
<\/li> - Service generators (gen -sets), hydraulic systems, and marine electrical components
<\/li> - Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs, including engine repairs
<\/li> - Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high -quality standards
<\/li> - Collaborate with team members while also managing independent projects
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>
<\/h3>- Minimum 5 years of hands -on experience<\/b> in diesel engine diagnostics and repair
<\/li> - Marine diesel experience strongly preferred<\/b>
<\/li> - Proven diagnostic ability with engines, hydraulics, gen -sets, and electrical systems
<\/li> - Experience with major OEMs such as CAT, Cummins, Yanmar, Steyr Engines<\/b>, and Hamilton Jet<\/b>
<\/li> - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
<\/li> - Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
<\/li> - Professional attitude with strong communication skills
<\/li> - Own tools required
<\/li> - Physically capable of meeting job demands
<\/li> - Must meet U.S. employment eligibility requirements
