THE OPPORTUNITY
Core Talent Services is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-regarded law firm with a strong maritime and admiralty practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. New Orleans is one of the most active maritime legal markets in the United States, and this firm has established itself as a trusted and sophisticated presence in that market. They are seeking an experienced Maritime Attorney to join their team and contribute meaningfully to a practice that handles complex, high-stakes matters across the full spectrum of admiralty and maritime law.

This is an opportunity for an attorney with genuine maritime experience to bring their expertise to a firm that will support and invest in their professional growth. Compensation is intentionally structured to reflect experience — the more you bring, the more this role can offer. Whether you are a third-year associate ready to take on more responsibility or a senior attorney looking for a better platform, this firm wants to hear from you.

WHY NEW ORLEANS FOR MARITIME LAW

New Orleans sits at the intersection of the Gulf of Mexico, the Mississippi River, and one of the most active port systems in the world. The Southern District of Louisiana and the Eastern District are among the busiest maritime dockets in the country. For a maritime attorney, New Orleans is not just a place to practice — it is the epicenter of American admiralty law. The density of maritime clients, the depth of the local maritime bar, and the volume and complexity of matters available here are unmatched outside of Houston.
