Market Attendants provide exceptional service within the resort's marketplace, assisting guests with food, beverage, and retail purchases. This role is responsible for accurately fulfilling guest orders, preparing food items and espresso beverages according to established menu standards, and creating a welcoming, organized, and clean environment. Market Attendants also maintain inventory by stocking front-of-house and back-of-house areas, uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards, and deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Prepare and serve food, coffee, espresso beverages, and other menu items according to established standards.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and room charge transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain attractive product displays and ensure merchandise is fully stocked and properly presented.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish products in front-of-house and storage areas as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Keep workstations, dining areas, equipment, and storage spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and minimizing product waste.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Support overall marketplace operations while working collaboratively with fellow team members to achieve service and performance goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, customer service, retail, or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional, and engaging demeanor.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience preferred.
• Ability to safely prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must possess a commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Demonstrates reliability, dependability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Basic knowledge of coffee, espresso beverages, retail operations, and inventory management is preferred.
