Market President - Banking | Mitchell, SD

Lead a growing market for a respected, independent community bank in the Mitchell area. This is a ground-floor leadership role: you'll be the face of the bank locally, grow commercial and ag lending relationships, and build the team that serves them.

What you'll do:

• Lead the local market and own its growth, profitability and community presence
• Develop and grow commercial, small business and agricultural lending relationships
• Bring in new deposit and loan business through active business development and referral networks
• Build, hire and lead a high-performing local team
• Represent the bank in the community through civic, business and ag organizations
• Partner with credit and senior leadership on loan structure, pricing and portfolio quality

What you bring:

• 5-10 years of banking experience
• A commercial lending, business banking or business development background
• Ag lending experience is a plus
• Strong local ties and an established network in the Mitchell business community
• A leader who builds relationships and builds teams
