Duties
Help
Uses various software to produce a variety of documents and electronic media for the Marketing Office. Transmits and receives documents and messages electronically using personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations.
Types a variety of material from rough or handwritten draft such as correspondence, marketing flyers, bulletins, messages, memorandums, etc.
Performs general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, taking messages, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining files.
Sorts and prepares marketing material (flyers, brochures, advertisement, etc.) for delivery.
Prints marketing material using a Xerox machine or other office equipment.
Delivers marketing material to Dyess housing areas, base activities, dormitories display cases, etc., following a specific route and instructions as to the required placement of materials.
Picks up and delivers marketing orders to activities and assists in stocking marketing displays throughout activities.
Changes the marquee when needed.
Assists with tracking sales, sponsorship, donations and gifts using software means.
Sends invoices, direct mail requests and enters payments into the SAIS and other tracking software. Operates a motor vehicle (car or light truck) in the performance of duties.
Drives a government vehicle or pickup truck in the performance of duties relating to the Marketing Office e.g., delivering marketing items to activities, changing base marquee.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have progressively responsible work experience in clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
Applicants must have experience that demonstrated proficiency in the use of a computer and software used in the development of a variety of documents.
The skills of a qualified typist are not required. Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and be able to use simple office equipment.
Must be able to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing 10 to 30 pounds.
Must be able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach and walk for long periods of time.
Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to obtain and U.S. Government driving permit.
This is a position of trust. Must satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Background Investigation.
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Must be able to provide a copy of driving record.

Education
