Job Summary
As a Marketing Content Creator, your primary responsibility is to conceptualize, produce and deliver engaging, high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites and other digital channels. This role involves a combination of creativity, technical skills and storytelling abilities to captivate and connect with patients, staff and the community. Strong time-management abilities are a must. Marketing Content Creators work with one another, alongside the Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Strategist, Digital Content Specialist and Marketing Specialists, to fulfill the video content needs.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Researching and executing on cutting-edge social trends and ideas to inform and propose new content for Vandalia Health
- When required, creating storyboards, shot lists and pre-production materials for both site content and social-first content
- Collaborating with managers, employees, providers, patients and the marketing team to develop engaging content that resonates across social platforms
- Capturing and editing original video content and having a hand in all phases of video production from pre-to-post (filming, editing, color correction, sound design, etc.)
- Collaborating with team to expand branded style templates for new and existing social content
REQUIREMENTS:
- Video editing with either Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva
- Ability to regularly travel on and off-site as needed for video production
- Strong understanding of popular social media platforms and social media trends, and the ability to discern what works well in the healthcare setting
- Excellent collaborative and communication skills to develop creative and engaging healthcare content, and represent Vandalia Health in a professional manner
- In-depth understanding of the video production flow and process
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow specific brand standards and guidelines
- Strong time-management skills and the flexibility to adapt and respond quickly to multiple moving elements within simultaneous tasks and/or evolving projects
- Demo reel or portfolio showcasing storytelling and editing
ENCOURAGED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Motion graphic experience with Adobe After Effects
- Audio mixing and editing
- Color grading and color correction
- Studio/set design
- Healthcare experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Required) Bachelor's Degree in: Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or other related field. Experience: 1-2 years directly related to content creation preferred
