The Marketing Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day strategic marketing initiatives of the local Network Office (NO) and select financial advisors within the Puget Sound Area.Responsibilities in this position include supporting Marketing leadership in the development and execution of all firm-wide internal and external marketing events, supporting select financial advisors while serving as a consistent partner to the Northwestern Mutual corporate offices. The Marketing Coordinator will also help the NO drive financial advisor productivity, revenue, and market presence through implementation of marketing strategies, tactics, and Northwestern Mutual brand expansion efforts.This individual should thrive in an environment that promotes direct engagement with colleagues, embraces a recruiting‑minded culture, and excels in providing premium services that cannot be found outside of Northwestern Mutual.Position Responsibilities For the Network OfficeLead tactical execution of Marketing Plan while operating within guidelines of Marketing BudgetExecute procedural tracking and measuring marketing program's impact and overall ROI.Plan and execute small to large scale marketing events (approx. 1 per month)Identify and lead marketing education and training (workshops and webinars) to select financial advisors, their marketing team and the network office.Support execution of internal /external brand‑building events for Network office and Advisors.Provide support for local public relations, advertising, and philanthropic efforts.Assist with Client Relations Center (CRC) Lead distribution when needed.Support the CGO with various growth and marketing related activities.Support the CGO/CMO in Marketing plans for advisors in the MEP program.Lead tactical execution of strategic client and prospect engagement activities.Manage activities within individual advisor/practice marketing budget.Assist in leading regularly scheduled marketing consultations to help drive marketing plans, online marketing presence, client segmentation, and overall marketing integration.Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications required.2-5 years marketing and event experience.Experience in content creation, and logo development.Ability to multitask, prioritize and take independent action to make sound decisions with minimal oversight.Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with people at all levels; maintain confidentiality.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Social Media technologies (e.g., Adobe, Illustrator, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, Instagram)Previous experience in financial services a plusOccasional night/weekend projects as determined by event schedule.Compensation and Benefits Base pay from $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
