General Summary
The Marketing Intelligence Lead is responsible for building and leading Elevate's Marketing Intelligence function, enabling data-driven marketing decisions through modern measurement, analytics, experimentation, and marketing technology.
This role owns the strategy, governance, and execution of Marketing Intelligence across customer acquisition, customer lifecycle, digital experience, and marketing effectiveness. The position leads a growing team of Marketing Intelligence professionals and partners closely with Marketing, Product, Risk, Enterprise Data, Engineering, Digital, Technology, and external partners to ensure marketing data becomes a strategic business asset.
Success in this role is measured not only by reporting accuracy, but also by improvements to customer experience, decision-making, personalization, and marketing effectiveness across customer touchpoints.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Elevate's Marketing Intelligence roadmap, including digital measurement, marketing analytics, customer journey analytics, attribution, marketing KPIs, executive dashboards, performance reporting, and AI-enabled insights.
- Own Elevate's digital measurement framework, including GA4 and Google Tag Manager administration, event taxonomy, digital tagging standards, pixel governance, data layer strategy, measurement governance, and marketing data quality monitoring.
- Serve as Marketing's analytics and measurement leader across GA4, Google Tag Manager, Power BI, Webflow Analytics, Braze, Snowflake Marketing Mart, AI-enabled marketing analytics, and identity resolution capabilities.
- Partner with Enterprise Data and Engineering to ensure Marketing requirements are incorporated into future data and technology platform decisions.
- Develop customer intelligence that improves acquisition, engagement, retention, lifecycle marketing, customer journeys, offer optimization, and marketing ROI.
- Advance Marketing from campaign reporting toward customer intelligence and predictive decision-making.
- Co-own Marketing's experimentation capability across A/B testing, multivariate testing, landing pages, email, SMS, creative, and customer journey optimization.
- Develop repeatable testing frameworks that continuously improve marketing performance.
- Translate business objectives into scalable analytics, measurement, and marketing intelligence capabilities.
- Establish enterprise marketing measurement standards and define and govern marketing KPIs.
- Influence enterprise data strategy and drive a culture of experimentation, optimization, and AI-ready marketing capabilities.
- Build organizational analytics maturity and develop future Marketing Intelligence leaders.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics, Marketing Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience leading technical teams or centers of excellence.
- Experience developing digital measurement strategies, customer journey analytics, and marketing attribution methodologies.
Required Skills, Abilities, Soft Skills Factors
- Expert knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Power BI and Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of event taxonomy, tagging standards, data layers, measurement governance, and marketing data quality.
- Ability to translate business objectives into scalable analytics and measurement capabilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to influence enterprise data strategy and establish governance standards.
- Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Preferred skills: Braze, Webflow, Python, AI/ML applications in Marketing, identity resolution platforms, experimentation frameworks, and cloud data platforms.
