Scot Forge is seeking two Marketing Interns for Summer 2027 at our corporate facility in Spring Grove, Illinois.

This internship provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, including content creation, social media, market research, digital marketing, data analysis, event planning, and AI-enabled marketing tools. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and business leaders while contributing to projects that directly support company growth and customer engagement.

About Scot Forge

Scot Forge is a 130+ year-old, 100% employee-owned manufacturer of custom open die and rolled ring forgings. Our products support critical industries including energy, transportation, manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, and national defense.

As a Marketing Intern, you'll gain experience supporting a global industrial manufacturer while helping communicate Scot Forge's capabilities, culture, and value to customers, prospective employees, and industry partners.

What You'll Do

As a Marketing Intern, you may:

• Create content and support Scot Forge's social media channels
• Analyze markets, customer trends, and campaign opportunities
• Partner with Sales and subject matter experts to develop marketing content
• Support targeted marketing campaigns through research and data analysis
• Assist with internal communications initiatives
• Help plan and support corporate events and customer experiences

Requirements

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Rising Senior or higher at the start of the internship
• Strong self-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and proofreading abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments
• Curious, outgoing, and eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with social media content creation or digital marketing
• Familiarity with marketing analytics or market research
• Exposure to graphic design, content management, or AI-powered marketing tools
• Experience working on team-based projects or campaigns

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug screen

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual base pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
