Marketing Intern (Summer 2027)

The Marketing Intern - Videoboards at Musco Sports Lighting, LLC plays a key role in planning and executing marketing initiatives. This position will assist in the development and coordination of marketing projects across website, social media, email, and advertising channels. They will also aid the team in performance analysis by retrieving, formatting, and assisting in the review of marketing initiatives. Essential Criteria:

• Junior pursing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or similar field.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Strong report compiling and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills in standard MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate marketing projects across content, advertising, trade shows, and data/reporting initiatives to support team priorities and deadlines.
• Proofread and copywrite social media posts, blog content, advertising materials, and other marketing communications for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
• Assist with graphic design needs by supporting the development and refinement of visual assets for marketing campaigns and internal projects.
• Support trade show planning and execution through project coordination, organization of materials, and communication with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate advertising projects, including tracking deliverables, reviewing content, and assisting with copywriting and proofing needs.
• Collect, organize, and analyze marketing data to identify insights and support reporting needs.
• Build reports and summaries that communicate project updates, campaign performance, and data-driven findings in a clear and professional format.
• In-person availability during standard business hours, Monday – Friday at our Des Moines office. This is a full-time summer internship.
• Willingness to work in an office environment.
• Must complete required Musco security and protocol trainings.
