Description
Wellington International is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the day-to-day marketing activities during the Winter Equestrian Festival (January through March). This internship provides hands-on experience in digital marketing, traditional marketing, content creation, social media management, and brand strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing team.
Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Draft blog posts, editorial articles, email newsletters, and marketing content.
Assist with photo and video shoots, editing, and organizing media assets.
Support planning and coordination of events, promotions, or product launches.
Help with the distribution of marketing material across the show grounds.
Monitor and create reports on marketing performance metrics.
Work harmoniously with other interns and employees.
Must maintain a good attendance record.
Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations or related field.
Interns will be responsible for their housing arrangements.
Applicants must have employment authorization to work in the U.S.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Applicants must be able to work varying hours, including nights and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
