Marketing Manager

Payrate: $58.00 - $58.19/hr.
 
Summary:
The main function of a marketing manager is to lead the research of market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
 
Responsibilities:

• Maintain the CEC Showroom through continual product upgrades working with EBD product groups, Solution Engineer, and Vertical Marketing Teams to outline and install the applicable solutions.
• Create and manage all CEC hospitality, meeting, and training programs.
• Support post-event, training, and tour reporting, including description, dates and times, attendee list, photos, actions, and follow-up.
• Maintain a list of attendees including name, company, contact information, reason for visit, and follow-up actions.
• Create pre-sale and post-sale communications for each event to drive attendees and revenue opportunities.
• Assist in identifying strategic DMC events where marketing can target attendees to visit the showroom.
• Assist in monthly reporting for the executive team.
• Manage and execute the CEC meeting schedule, ensuring proper coverage and attendance.
• Plan and host various events, including program development, catering, and hosting.
• Ensure the CEC space is prepared for each meeting, coordinating cleaning, technology demos, and product displays.
• Host all CEC guests, providing tours and answering questions.
• Provide light technical maintenance and manage technical fixes with the Solution Engineers Team.
• Manage food/beverage service and other outsourced services and expense billing.
• Advise on factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
• Develop pricing strategies balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Direct hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff.
• Evaluate financial aspects of product development, such as budgets and profit-loss projections.
• Formulate and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors.
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure product sale and profitability.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Event/Hospitality Management is recommended.
• 8-10 years of related experience required.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $58.00 - $58.19/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
