Responsibilities
  • Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
  • Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Launch Timing & Work-Back Schedule Management
    • Build and maintain the launch work-back schedule for all PDP toolkit assets, working backward from launch date to identify key milestones and deadlines.
    • Author and manage three trackers that serve as the cross-functional source of truth for asset status, timing, and ownership.
    • Proactively flag timeline risks or bottlenecks to stakeholders and recommend mitigation plans.
    • Keep trackers updated in real time as launch dates, asset scope, or priorities shift.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) for PDPs
    • Manage intake, organization, and version control of PDP assets created by HQ within the DAM system.
    • Ensure assets are properly tagged, current, and accessible to downstream teams.
    • Audit asset libraries periodically to remove outdated content and confirm completeness ahead of launch.
  • HQ / IM Team Liaison
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the HQ POC and the IM Team, translating requirements and timelines between both groups.
    • Communicate asset status, changes, and blockers clearly and promptly to both sides.
    • Coordinate approvals, feedback, and revisions to keep asset delivery aligned with launch timing.
  • Team Operations Management
    • Manage key day-to-day operations functions that support overall team efficiency and accountability, including but not limited to:
    • Invoicing: Track, process, and reconcile vendor and agency invoices in a timely manner.
    • Asset Management: Maintain organized records of all team-owned assets across product lines and campaigns.
    • Product & Campaign Toolkits: Oversee the development, organization, and deployment of product launch and campaign toolkits, ensuring teams have the resources needed to execute effectively and on schedule.

Qualifications
