Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will support the firm’s events, campaigns, and digital marketing efforts while helping maintain marketing systems, content, collateral, and branded materials. The role partners with internal leaders, agencies, and vendors to support brand consistency, data accuracy, and timely performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support GTM’s external events from planning through execution, including national trade shows, regional and client events, and webinars. Assist with coordinating vendors, venues, materials, shipping, promotions, registration pages, and the firm’s event calendar.
• Support leadership speaking engagements and sponsorships, including logistics, presentation formatting, and scheduling on the firm’s event calendar.
• Build, test, and launch HubSpot email campaigns and landing pages while keeping lists, records, and campaign and event data accurate.
• Help maintain current inventories of sales and marketing collateral, including brochures, data sheets, and case studies, and keep employee bios and headshots complete and up to date firm-wide.
• Support day-to-day WordPress website updates, including service pages and event information, and assist with SEO efforts.
• Collaborate with the agency on content and social media by sharing ideas, coordinating subject matter experts, and reviewing deliverables for brand consistency.
• Track event budgets and help report on event, campaign, and website performance, documenting insights to guide future efforts.
• Maintain the awards and recognition submission calendar and support each submission from deadline tracking through follow-up.
• Support the company apparel store and GTM-branded merchandise inventory, coordinating with vendors on orders, stock levels, and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 0–3 years of marketing experience; B2B or professional services experience is a plus
• Exposure to event planning and execution through internships, coursework, or prior roles; trade show experience is a plus
• Familiarity with marketing platforms, including automation and CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), content management systems (WordPress or similar), design tools (Canva or similar; Adobe Creative Cloud a plus), project management tools (Asana or similar), and web analytics tools (Google Analytics and Search Console a plus)
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including formatting and polishing professional presentations, plus proficiency in the broader Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while staying accurate and detail-oriented
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership as the role grows
• Ability to travel up to 20%
