Marketing Specialist-Website/Social Development Focus

We're looking for an individual with flexible skills to coordinate the implementation of Donor Resources marketing and communications program for all blood drives, which has a substantial impact on the overall performance of the department, support pre-drive activities in a way that ensures the most efficient use of available resources i.e. direct mail, incentive items, etc., exercise innovative and creative concepts of marketing materials to enhance the MBS brand, and work with Marketing Director in the overall organization of the department. Below are more details of what's needed to help us meet our mission:

Duties:

• Creates and ensures timely completion of marketing material requests (posters, flyers, etc.) daily.
• Assists with creating innovative graphic materials for posters, billboard/print ads, video development, social images etc. as required.
• Assists with tracking and interaction on social platforms, as required.
• Teams with the Donor Resources Supervisor for efficient and effective completion of projects.
• Assists with coordinating public relations activities to include: special mailings, shipping/delivering information, special events coordination, campaign development and implementation, donor and employee recognition, and other special projects.
• Serve as MBS spokesperson in the absence of Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree and/or 2-3 years related experience and/or training. Previous experience in a fast paced Marketing environment preferred.
• Experience in the following is a plus: Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of documents. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with recruiters, associates and outside customers.
• Ability to work with and through others in a friendly, cooperative, unselfish manner in building
• Work at a faster than-average pace while handling detail work accurately.
• Ability to develop expertise in area of operations.
• Cooperative and team oriented and can lead by example in assigned role.
• Proficiency in computer usage and common office software applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when required.
