Location: Remote or any Colony Bank location with available space

Qualifications: Preferred 5+ years of previous marketing experience

Position Overview:

This position serves as the technical engine of the Marketing Department, bridging marketing strategy, campaign operations, and digital tracking. Rather than managing software development or product features, this role owns the commercial marketing stack-including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), colony.bank - marketing web pages (WordPress), and campaign tagging infrastructure. This role enables data-driven marketing campaigns, automates customer acquisition journeys, and measures marketing ROI across all digital channels.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation & Lifecycle Campaigns

• SFMC Campaign Administration: Own the technical setup, maintenance, and data hygiene within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to execute marketing campaigns.
• Automated Customer Journeys: Build and optimize multi-touch promotional and onboarding email/SMS journeys using AMPscript, SQL, and SFMC Journey Builder to drive member acquisition and engagement.
• Marketing Segmentation & Dynamic Content: Create dynamic email templates and target audience rules to deliver highly personalized marketing messages based on customer behavior.
• Marketing System Data Workflows: Collaborate with IT to establish secure data feeds between core banking systems and SFMC to power marketing campaign triggers.

Marketing Website & Tagging Infrastructure (CMS)

• Marketing Web Page Management: Maintain public-facing marketing pages on the WordPress CMS, ensuring fast load times, mobile responsiveness, SEO alignment, and compliance for marketing landing pages.
• Marketing Analytics & Tag Setup: Deploy and maintain marketing tracking tags and pixels (via Google Tag Manager and GA4) to accurately attribute campaign traffic, form fills, and conversion metrics.
• Campaign Landing Page Development: Build dynamic, high-converting marketing landing pages using HTML, CSS, and lightweight scripts to support active advertising and promotional campaigns.

Marketing Performance & Campaign Analytics

• Marketing Campaign Attribution: Track, analyze, and report on marketing ROI, digital campaign funnel conversions, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and channel performance across email, web, and digital ads. Partner with the Business Development Team to overlay marketing campaign performance with sales trends to show optimal impact for growth.
• Campaign A/B Testing: Design and execute continuous A/B tests on promotional emails, CTA buttons, subject lines, and marketing landing pages to improve response rates.
• Marketing Dashboards & Executive Reporting: Build marketing performance reports in Looker Studio/Power BI to provide actionable insights for leadership on campaign effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Marketing Operations

• Marketing Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal marketing managers, product line leaders, and compliance officers to translate promotional campaign briefs into technical marketing assets.
• MarTech Vendor Escalations: Manage technical support cases and updates with marketing platform vendors, including Salesforce Support and web hosting providers.
