Compensation: Commission with Performance Bonus

We are a local certified CBE firm and licensed installers in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland.


Overview:

The Sales Representative will report to the Residential Sales Manager and will have the primary objective of closing solar contracts for residential properties throughout Maryland. Sales Representatives will receive company-generated leads while also being responsible for generating their own leads, with opportunities to earn a higher commission rate through self-generated sales. Representatives will educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and present customized solar proposals based on each homeowner’s needs and financial goals. Solar Solution offers Maryland homeowners multiple options for going solar, including fixed solar lease agreements, $0.00 solar loan financing, and full system purchases. Sales Representatives will be responsible for clearly explaining each available option and helping homeowners determine which solution best fits their property and financial goals. Performance will be measured by monthly sales volume, with monthly sales goals established by management. Representatives will have uncapped commission potential, with the opportunity to earn over $120,000+ annually when monthly sales goals are consistently achieved.

Expectations:
Experience in sales of a minimum of two years.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferable knowledge of solar PV.
Positive, hardworking attitude.
Strong work ethic and motivation to be the best.
Goal Oriented.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Have a drivers license
Have a vehicle to go to site visits.



Qualifications:
Must have computer basic computer skills and experience with MS Outlook.
Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills.
Ability to work independently with solid time-management and organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
