Mass Action Paralegal (1+ Years of Experience)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mass action paraelgal to join our dynamic legal team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in plaintiff mass tort litigation and a strong understanding of the legal process, procedures, and documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation and trial preparation, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

  • Manage case files and maintain accurate, organized case documentation.

  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.

  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.

  • Assist with discovery processes, including organizing documents and preparing responses.

  • Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and deadlines.

  • Schedule depositions, hearings, and other critical case-related events.

  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with mass tort litigation (plaintiff side)

  • In-depth knowledge of California state and federal court rules and procedures.

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

  • Experience with case management and legal document management software.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Paralegal certification preferred

  • Spanish speaking is preferred but not necessary
