What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering a refined range of wellness therapies, including personalized body treatments, while ensuring guests experience the highest standards of relaxation and rejuvenation. The Massage Therapist will collaborate with the Spa Director to uphold the spa's elevated service standards and maintain a serene, wellness-driven environment. This role also includes ensuring treatment areas adhere to all state regulations for health and safety.

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Personalized Wellness Treatments: Provide bespoke massage and body therapies that cater to the individual needs of each guest, ensuring a highly tailored and luxurious experience.

  • Treatment Excellence: Perform a range of carefully curated treatments from the spa menu, ensuring every guest enjoys a holistic and therapeutic experience aligned with the spa's wellness philosophy.

  • Sanctuary Maintenance: Maintain an immaculate and tranquil treatment environment, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and organization are consistently upheld.

  • Linen and Room Management: Support in the preparation of treatment rooms by folding linens, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas are compliant with state sanitation guidelines.

  • Product and Inventory Oversight: Monitor treatment product levels and inform management when replenishment is required to ensure uninterrupted guest services.

  • Service Expertise: Stay informed on the latest wellness trends and continuously refine treatment techniques to enhance the spa's offering of transformative therapies.

  • Guest Engagement: Provide expert guidance to guests regarding the benefits of treatments, aftercare recommendations, and the spa's carefully selected retail offerings.

  • Promote Wellness: Actively contribute to the promotion of the spa's services, including exclusive treatments, signature rituals, and premium retail products to elevate the guest journey.

  • Collaborative Support: Work alongside the spa team to ensure seamless daily operations, including supporting events and spa initiatives.

  • Adherence to Standards: Uphold the standards of Forbes Travel Guide and state regulations, ensuring all treatment procedures and environments meet rigorous safety and luxury benchmarks.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Exhibit flexibility in scheduling to accommodate guests' needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Valid Florida State License in massage therapy required.

  • Additional certifications in skincare or body treatments preferred.

  • Minimum two years' experience in a wellness-driven, high-end spa or resort.

  • Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide standards and state health and safety regulations is an advantage.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a passion for delivering bespoke wellness experiences.

  • Ability to support Spa Attendant and Concierge functions as needed.
