Pay: 30/hr.
Job Overview:
The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, providing therapeutic massage services, supporting practice growth through patient retention and product recommendations, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the Practice standard of excellence.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform all massage therapy services in accordance with Connecticut licensure requirements and practice protocols.
- Develop strong relationships with patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience and maintain Practice’s reputation for excellence.
- Review patient history, prior treatment notes, and provide appropriate treatment recommendations within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely SOAP notes and treatment documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Doctor and leadership regarding patient concerns, treatment plans, and any changes affecting patient health histories.
- Conduct follow-up calls with patients treated the previous day to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain patient treatment rooms in clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Monitor inventory levels in assigned areas and notify appropriate staff when supplies are low.
Patient Experience & Sales Responsibilities
- Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness recommendations, and available products.
- Recommend/Promote practice-approved skincare and wellness products, including SkinCeuticals and other brands carried by the Practice.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving monthly revenue, retail, and patient satisfaction goals.
- Maintain patient satisfaction survey scores of 4.6/5.0 or higher.
- Support patient retention efforts through exceptional customer service and relationship building.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and contribute creative ideas to help grow the practice and maintain a full schedule.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with front desk operations when needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out.
- Attend/Participate in office events, community networking opportunities, and educational programs to promote the practice and expand patient outreach.
- Support practice initiatives to patient acquisition, networking, revenue growth.
- Attend monthly internal/external educational seminars and provide written summaries when requested.
- Assist with inventory mgt., ordering supplies, maintaining product stock levels.
- Support office operations, including laundry duties such as organizing, stocking, washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut Massage Therapist License required.
- Proven ability to meet revenue and retail sales goals.
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.
- Ability to work at all Practice locations; Greenwich, Stamford, and Fairfield.

- Ability to perform massage therapy services requiring standing for extended periods.
- Ability to use hands with precision, strength, and dexterity while providing massage treatments.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, stretch, and reposition throughout the workday.
- Ability to alternate between sitting and standing during patient consultations and administrative tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, including supplies, products, and laundry.
- Ability to push or pull carts containing supplies, linens, or equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements associated with massage therapy treatments.
- Ability to maintain visual focus and assess treatment areas effectively.
