    Job Description

    The Oaks Club is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (Independent Contractor) to provide professional massage therapy services to members and guests in our spa and wellness environment.
    We are currently seeking availability primarily on Mondays and Fridays, with the opportunity to provide additional services as member needs and appointment requests arise.
    The ideal contractor will provide an exceptional member experience through professional, personalized massage services while maintaining the high standards of service expected at The Oaks Club.
     
    Services & Responsibilities
    • Provide professional massage therapy services based on individual client needs and preferences.
    • Consult with clients prior to services to identify areas of concern, preferences, and any relevant contraindications.
    • Provide a welcoming, comfortable, and professional experience for members and guests.
    • Maintain appropriate client service and treatment documentation.
    • Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and professional treatment space in accordance with applicable health and licensing requirements.
    • Follow all applicable Florida laws, regulations, and professional standards governing massage therapy services.
    • Maintain professional communication with the Spa/front desk regarding appointment availability and scheduling.
    • Maintain all licenses, certifications, insurance, and continuing education required to independently provide massage therapy services in Florida.
    • Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
    Qualifications
    • Must hold a current and valid Florida Massage Therapist license.
    • Must maintain any licenses, certifications, and professional liability insurance required to provide massage therapy services.
    • Prior experience providing massage services in a spa, resort, private club, wellness, or similar high-service environment is preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and client-service skills with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Ability to customize massage services based on individual client needs.
    • Professional, dependable, organized, and responsive regarding appointment availability.
    • Strong understanding of sanitation, hygiene, client safety, and professional massage therapy standards.
    • Ability to establish positive, long-term relationships with members and guests.
