Bolt Auto Care is looking for an experienced Master Automotive Repair Technician to join our team. This position is for a highly skilled technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, work efficiently, and help set the standard for quality in the shop.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, productive, and comfortable handling advanced diagnostics, drivability concerns, electrical issues, mechanical repairs, inspections, and general automotive service work.
As a Master Automotive Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and inspections while helping support an efficient and professional shop environment.
Responsibilities include:
Performing advanced diagnostics on complex vehicle issues
Completing mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, A/C, engine performance, and general repair work
Inspecting vehicles thoroughly and documenting findings clearly
Identifying needed repairs, safety concerns, maintenance items, and future service recommendations
Providing accurate notes, photos, inspection results, and technician recommendations
Communicating clearly with service advisors and management
Producing consistent billable hours through quality, efficient work
Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, service information, and other technology effectively
Staying current with modern automotive systems, repair procedures, and diagnostic methods
Supporting other team members when needed and helping promote a team-first shop culture
Following shop processes, safety procedures, and quality standards
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience
The ability to diagnose vehicles accurately instead of simply replacing parts
Experience with scan tools, electrical testing, service information, and modern vehicle systems
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment
Good communication skills and the ability to document work clearly
A dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
A valid driverâs license and clean driving record
Personal tools appropriate for the position
ASE certifications are preferred. ASE Master Certification is a strong plus, but not required for the right experienced technician.
