Lead Certified Personal Trainer (Master Trainer) – $30–$50/hr + Commission

Our Master Trainer is the bridge between ownership and our training team. You’ll run client assessments, keep our trainers’ schedules working, and set the standard for how GYMGUYZ trains, while still coaching clients of your own.

What you’ll lead
- Conduct initial assessments and reassessments, and close new client packages
- Build and manage trainer schedules so clients get the right trainer at the right time
- Mentor trainers on programming, client communication, and session quality
- Uphold team standards for uniforms, equipment, and professionalism
- Train a select book of your own clients in their homes, offices, and communities across the Richmond area

What you’ll earn
- $30–$50 per hour based on experience
- Commission on assessments and package sales, with earning potential of $200–$700+ per week

Required
- Current CPT certification from a nationally recognized organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- 2+ years of personal training experience
- Confidence leading assessments and sales conversations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes, offices, and other locations
- Comfortable using apps like Mindbody and Trainerize
- Professional, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Preferred
- Leadership, mentoring, or team management experience
- Experience with a diverse clientele, including beginners and seniors
- Knowledge of strength training, corrective exercise, functional fitness, mobility, and weight management
