Your mission

As a Masterbatch Production Line Operator, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, and high-quality color compounding. You’ll keep equipment running at top speed, document accurately, and collaborate to solve problems in real time—because in batch manufacturing, the team’s rhythm defines our success.

Core responsibilities

• Run production lines safely and efficiently; meet or exceed throughput targets.
• Apply quality standards and complete all production documentation with precision.
• Identify, communicate, and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Uphold housekeeping and lean standards to maintain a safe, orderly workplace.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Support additional tasks as business demands.
• Maintain full-time, on-site presence with punctual attendance.
• Flex to mandatory overtime when needed; evening, night, or weekend rotations may occur.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing exposure preferred; strong collaborator and dependable teammate.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete assigned work thoroughly and on time.
• Operational judgment to balance speed and quality.
• Reading/writing proficiency for logs and reports.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.

Shift and schedule

3rd Shift: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (Starts Monday night, ends Friday morning) Hours are 10pm - 8am

• Arrive 15 minutes prior to the production phase of the scheduled shift.
• Mandatory overtime may be required to complete batches safely, which can extend beyond scheduled hours and may include evening, night, or weekend rotations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. multiple times throughout shift.

• Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.

• Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.

• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times throughout shift.

• Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
