Material Coordinator

Payrate: $31.42- $31.42/hr.
 
Summary
This position supports Operations and Supply Management teams by ensuring production materials are available and scheduled to meet manufacturing requirements. The role is responsible for monitoring material availability, coordinating inventory activities, and supporting production operations through effective planning and inventory control. The successful candidate will work extensively within SAP or equivalent MRP systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient material flow and operational performance. This role is onsite in a manufacturing environment and requires flexibility to support business demands, including overtime and occasional weekend work.
 
Responsibilities

• Oversee production material availability to ensure direct materials are scheduled and available for work centers on time.
• Support Operations and Supply Management teams as a functional team member and service provider.
• Monitor, schedule, coordinate, and control inventory to support manufacturing operations.
• Utilize SAP or equivalent Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to manage supply and production requirements.
• Analyze inventory, material demand, and production requirements to support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support initiatives that enhance inventory management and operational performance.
• Review and analyze operational data to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a customer service mindset while supporting internal stakeholders and operational requirements.
• Effectively communicate supply, inventory, or production concerns and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements within the manufacturing environment.

 
Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 
Experience Requirements

• Experience supporting Supply Management, Operations, Inventory Control, Materials Planning, or related functions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Military experience preferred.
• Experience working with SAP or equivalent MRP systems preferred.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $31.42- $31.42 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
