About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Material Coordinator for Advanced Drainage Systems, a manufacturer of stormwater and onsite septic wastewater solutions, in Fairmont, MN. What You'll Do as a Material Coordinator:- Safely transfer raw materials to the warehouse or material silos
- Utilize optimizer software to create material blends
- Perform inventory counts and reconciliations and conduct visual quality inspections
- Operate forklifts and other vehicles while following proper operating and preventive maintenance procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
- Ensure raw materials are properly stacked and handled according to established SOPs
- Follow PPE requirements, immediately report unsafe conditions or injuries, and maintain a safe work environment
What You Need to Bring to the Material Coordinator Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift and OTR vehicle driving skills
- Basic math, written communication, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet
- Ability to stand and remain mobile for at least 8 continuous hours, including bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and mounting or dismounting industrial equipment
- Ability to perform physical work for extended periods in hot or cold environments
