Job Summary
Coordinate material flow, inventory, and production support across multiple factory departments. Ensure required materials are available on time while resolving shortages, inventory issues, and supply chain disruptions.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement, expediting, production, and delivery of materials.
Ensure production teams have required parts available on time.
Coordinate material flow across multiple departments, including shipping and receiving.
Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Identify and correct root causes of material shortages.
Work critical shortage reports and expedite parts to prevent production interruptions.
Audit material replenishment cycles and inventory accuracy.
Create and distribute daily production schedules using the Master Schedule.
Process inbound and outbound material transactions.
Manage rejected material returns to suppliers/source.
Recommend solutions to material availability and production issues.
Support engineering release and change management processes.
Manage material deviations and inventory adjustments.
Coordinate with material handlers, stock chasers, truckers, production teams, and other cross-functional groups.
May provide work direction to hourly material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.

Qualifications
Required Skills
Supply Management or Manufacturing experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to analyze information and recommend effective solutions.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Understanding of material flow, inventory, and production processes.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Supply Management or Manufacturing experience.
Material flow experience.
Experience with SAP and data analytics.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Self-motivated and willing to learn.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Alternatively, 2–3 years of equivalent relevant work experience.
