Material Coordinator

FieldBridge is looking for a Morgan City, LA based Warehouse Associate to work for a global leader in engineered products and services for the energy industry. Weekly pay + Benefits.

Pay: $17.24 – $20.42/hr DOE | Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with overtime as needed and rotational on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays. At $20/hr and 50 hours/week for example, you can earn up to $1,100/week gross.

Position Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials within a warehouse environment. This role supports daily shipping and receiving operations, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures orders are properly prepared for shipment. The Material Handler operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, verifies incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation, and upholds strict safety standards throughout all warehouse activities. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail and a collaborative, team-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, and store materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment
• Pick, pack, and prepare inventory for shipment; verify contents against manifests, invoices, and orders to ensure accuracy
• Maintain accurate shipping records and select appropriate shipping methods based on item type and delivery requirements
• Identify and communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate teams and work toward resolution
• Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements; maintain an organized, hazard-free work environment

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation covering nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in multitasking within a high-energy environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Basic computer skills for use of internal management systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and working at heights or near water for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain
