Material Expeditor (Level 2)

• Employment Type: Contingent Non-Employee (Contract / Temp)

• Pay Rate: $24.00 Hourly (OT40)

• Desired Start Date: 11/5/2026 – 11/22/2027 (Approx. 1 Year)

• Work Schedule: Second Shift Position (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM) with initial training on 1st shift.

• Required Overtime: 10.00 Hours / Week

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Expeditor (Level 2) for a manufacturing environment in Oldsmar, FL. The ideal candidate will handle material tracking, scheduling compliance, and inventory routing, ensuring production stays on schedule while proactively mitigating potential shortages. Note: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts in strict accordance with production schedules and commitments.

• Review master production schedules to identify possible and actual shortages, promptly alerting appropriate authorities to potential disruptions.

• Generate regular progress reports on schedule status and maintain accurate records of completed orders.

• Take appropriate action to expedite materials, including arranging for the repair of damaged materials or coordinating in-house material transportation.

• Report accurately on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience & Education: Typically requires a Level 2 profile (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree with 4–8 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 2–6 years of experience).

• Core Skills:

  • Strong foundational background in material expediting, supply chain support, or inventory routing.

  • Ability to work on computer systems and utilize basic digital inventory tools.

• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong critical thinking capabilities, customer service mindset, and high-level analytical ability.

• Worksite: Onsite full-time in Oldsmar, FL.

• Shift Details: Must be able to train on 1st shift and successfully transfer to 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM).
