Material Expeditor

PGS Worldwide is seeking Material Expeditors in Clearwater, Florida for one-year onsite contract-to-hire roles supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support production operations by tracking materials, identifying shortages, expediting parts, and coordinating material movement against production schedules.

Required Skills

• Experience supporting production, manufacturing, materials, logistics, or supply-chain operations.

• Ability to review production schedules and identify actual or potential material shortages.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate status reports.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate material, shortage, and schedule information clearly.

• Ability to prioritize changing production requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Material expediting or production-control experience.

• Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.

• Customer-service experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.

• Experience coordinating material movement between warehouse, production, and support teams.

What You’ll Do

• Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts according to production schedules.

• Review master production schedules to identify shortages and potential delays.

• Communicate material issues to appropriate production and support teams.

• Track schedule status and maintain records of completed orders.

• Coordinate repair, replacement, or internal transportation of delayed or damaged materials.

• Report completion dates, substitutions, shortages, and schedule changes.

• Help ensure required materials are available to production when needed.

Work Schedule / Shift

Available schedules include:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM — 3 openings

• 2nd Shift:3:30 PM–2:00 AM — 1 opening

Candidates selected for 2nd shift must be able to train on 1st shift before transitioning to their permanent schedule.

Pay

• $24.00 per hour.
