Material Handler

Pay Range: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious, and motivated Material Handler to join our team in Clifton Springs, NY! In this role, you will play an important part in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring materials and manufactured goods are transported efficiently and delivered to the right locations at the right time.

What You'll Do

• Transport materials and manufactured goods between buildings, storage areas, production departments, loading docks, and delivery vehicles according to established schedules.
• Load and unload trucks and move skids of materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles after each use.
• Replenish material move cards at designated locations and loading docks.
• Collect, organize, and move empty pallets, skids, and baskets to designated recycling and replenishment areas.
• Collaborate with other Material Handlers to support material movement and departmental needs.
• Assist with stockroom and shipping dock activities as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling policies to ensure the safe and accurate movement of materials.

What We're Looking For

• Basic computer skills.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow material-handling classification policies when pulling, stocking, and transporting materials.
• Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency when completing assigned tasks.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Commitment to following all safety rules and established procedures.
• Reliability, dependability, and a commitment to arriving on time and working scheduled hours.

• Preferred Qualification: Forklift or tow motor experience and/or certification is a plus.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
