This is a first-shift opportunity supporting manufacturing operations through material movement, inventory control, and production support.Requirements for the Material Handler
- Good attendance and safety record
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to use basic measuring devices such as tape measures and hook rules
- Ability to provide required basic tools
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Material Handler Responsibilities
- Move and store parts produced by manufacturing equipment
- Retrieve parts from storage and deliver materials to production areas
- Stage materials for welding, assembly, and shipping operations
- Report inventory usage and material transactions accurately
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment as assigned
- Perform routine housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety policies and quality standards
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Work EnvironmentThis Material Handler position is located in a clean, indoor manufacturing environment. Personal protective equipment, including eye, ear, and foot protection, is required. Team members work closely with production, inventory, and shipping personnel to support daily operations and customer requirements. Schedule
