Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Material Handler for a temp-to-hire manufacturing opportunity in Claremore. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials throughout the facility while supporting production and warehouse operations.

Candidates will pull, stage, and prepare materials for production, maintain accurate inventory counts, and assist with daily material-handling responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse or material-handling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Required Experience & Skills

Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred. Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail, basic inventory accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain safe material-handling practices.

Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate dependable attendance, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Pull materials according to production requirements, stage components for upcoming work, and prepare materials for production.

Maintain accurate inventory and material counts while ensuring products are stored in designated locations. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when properly trained and authorized.

Assist Production and Warehouse personnel with material movement, organization, and daily operational needs. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all company safety procedures.

Material Handling & Inventory Responsibilities

Candidates will regularly move raw materials, organize inventory, prepare production materials, and support shipping and receiving activities as assigned.

Accuracy is important when pulling materials, verifying quantities, and maintaining inventory records. Candidates should be comfortable handling multiple material requests while keeping production areas supplied and organized.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to regularly lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work takes place in an industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular exposure to production equipment, forklifts, and material-handling operations. All company safety procedures and required PPE must be followed.
