Material Handler
Shift: 3rd, (11pm-7am)
Pay: $21/hr (Based on Experience)
Job Description:
- Safely supply materials to molding machines and support efficient production changeovers.
- Operate material handling equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, powered and manual pallet jacks, dryers, blenders, grinders, receivers, and vacuums.
- Monitor resin levels at machines to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
- Utilize IQMS and Microsoft Office applications to track production details, run reports, and identify upcoming material needs.
- Plan and communicate material changes (resin, colorant, etc.) to reduce downtime during order transitions.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as cleaning filters, screens, and magnets.
- Troubleshoot material flow issues and respond to equipment alarms in collaboration with maintenance and process technicians.
- Accurately label materials, containers, and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Maintain housekeeping standards by following 5S practices.
- Communicate effectively across shifts using email, radio, and other tools.
