Our client is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in their job shop environment. Our client is a premier metal fabrication and precision machining company specializing in sheet metal fabrication, precision machining, copper fabrication, and electromechanical assembly.
In this role, you will be responsible for safe and efficient movement of products and materials throughout the entire facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers to move materials.
- Prepare products and materials for shipment and movement on floor.
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials.
- Track and record units of materials handled.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in material handling/shipping and receiving.
- Experience in metal manufacturing/job shop industry preferred.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills.S
