JOB TITLE: Material Handler I
LOCATION:Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (2 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Performs cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory.

• Notifies Inventory Control staff of inconsistencies identified during counts.

• Uses a scale to weigh inventory during cycle counting.

• Uses a ladder unassisted as required for inventory access.

• Performs repetitive manual counts requiring dexterity and sustained attention.

• Stands and walks for the majority of the shift during counting activities.

• Lifts up to 30 pounds when required during inventory tasks.

• Completes assigned counting tasks with minimal supervision.

• Works within a manufacturing, logistics, or stock room environment.

• Completes full inventory count before the end of assignment.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least 6 months of direct cycle count experience.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, logistics, or stock room.

• Ability to use a scale to weigh inventory.

• Ability to use a ladder unassisted as required.

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.

• Capability of lifting 30 lbs occasionally.

• Clear written and spoken communication in English.

• Strong dexterity skills for repetitive manual counts.
