Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Location: Hamilton, OH 45015

Pay Rate: $20.68–$22.00/hour + $3.00/ hr Shift Differential
Shift Schedule: 

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM (+$3/hr)

Friday overtime may be available for 1st and 2nd shifts.

IMPORTANT: Previous forklift experience is REQUIRED. All candidates must be available to train on 1st shift. 1st Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler with previous forklift experience to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, and production operations. This position involves moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring materials are delivered safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and transport materials.

• Deliver materials and supplies to production workstations.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.

• Use handheld scanners to track and receive inventory.

• Verify part numbers, quantities, and production orders.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and follow safety procedures.

• Assist with inventory counts, weighing materials, and staging shipments.

• Operate overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment as required.

• Inspect materials and containers for damage and repackage when necessary.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience REQUIRED.

• Must be available to train on 1st shift.

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification through company training.

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

• Ability to perform physical material-handling duties.

• Must follow company safety, quality, and inventory procedures.

Forklift experience is mandatory for consideration.
