Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Sicame, 1674 Frontenac Rd, Naperville

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Material Handler at Sicame, where your contributions are vital to our production success! In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies, maintaining an organized and efficient work environment that supports our production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Management: Accurately pull and verify materials and supplies in accordance with production orders, ensuring timely availability for the production team.
• Inventory Support: Maintain in-process inventory levels at work centers by expertly managing the delivery and dispensing of products for our clients.
• Facility Upkeep: Ensure cleanliness and organization of loading areas and machinery, promoting a safe and efficient workspace for all team members.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to streamline material handling processes and improve operational workflow.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a material handling role or in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely, adhering to safety protocols.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate inventory management.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
• A proactive mindset to identify areas of improvement and suggest enhancements.
