About the Role

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials in a warehouse environment. This role involves handling inventory, organizing warehouse spaces, and supporting logistics operations during the first shift. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting and moving materials up to 10 lbs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and goods
• Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Pick and prepare materials for shipment or production needs
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems
• Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and safe
• Assist with stock counts and inventory reconciliation
• Operate material handling equipment as required
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE when necessary
• Support general warehouse operations and team collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 10 lbs
• Availability to work during the scheduled 1st shift
• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or tools

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as an essential function
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting
