Experienced senior material handler responsible for high-volume, complex warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and moving high-value or sensitive goods safely and efficiently.
Key duties include verifying cargo accuracy, creating bills of lading, handling hazardous materials, operating warehouse equipment (pallet jack, rider jack, standup, order picker, turret, reach truck, forklift over 5K), and ensuring quality standards.
Must be a member of the Safety Committee, capable of training others, and familiar with all branch accounts and functions.
Additional skills include EDI standards, data mapping, project management, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and technical integration experience.
Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, and on-site presence.
Preferred education is a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience. Forklift certification required within 30 days.
