Material Handler

DEPARTMENT: Supply ChainFLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptREPORTS TO: Logistics Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY:The primary responsibility for Material Movement and Order Picking is to pick materials and parts for internal assembly operations and customer orders. This role provides a crucial link between Receiving, Inventory, Assembly, Parts Fulfillment, and Shipping. Attention to Detail and Sense of Urgency are critical soft skills necessary for success in this position. High School Diploma or GED EquivalentPrevious work experience as an order picker or material handlerPrevious experience operating material handling equipment, i.e. forklift, hand truckAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings/prints, and procedure manuals.
