Position Summary:The Production Line Material Handler ensures production lines have the materials, components, and packaging needed to operate efficiently. This position moves materials and finished goods, maintains orderly work areas, and supports safe, uninterrupted production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Deliver and replenish raw materials, components, and packaging supplies at production lines.
- Move materials, work-in-process, and finished products between designated areas.
- Load, unload, sort, stack, and store materials according to site procedures.
- Monitor material availability and notify supervisors when supplies are low.
- Remove empty pallets, containers, scrap, and other items from production areas.
- Verify material quantities, labels, and product identification for accuracy.
- Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies and report concerns.
- Record material movements or inventory information as required.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse personnel to maintain workflow.
- Maintain clean, organized aisles, staging areas, and workstations.
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and equipment-use procedures.
- Report hazards, damaged equipment, and production interruptions promptly.
Qualifications:- Due to Federal Law interested Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen to include THC.
- Due to Federal Law interested Candidates must pass a background check, Individuals with felonies or misdemeanor convictions for domestic violence cannot be considered.
- Ability to learn and operate basic manufacturing equipment
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail for quality and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic reading and math skills required
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, and lift.
- May be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds, with assistance or mechanical aids when appropriate.
- Ability to work around production machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
