Material Handler

• Schedule: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Mon-Fri

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for performing administrative and physical warehouse activities related to the receiving, storing, organizing, picking, staging, and distribution of products, materials, supplies, and equipment to points of care throughout the network.

This position plays an important role in ensuring clinicians have the supplies and materials needed to provide patients with safe, high-quality care. The Material Handler is expected to perform all assigned duties accurately, efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and established workflows.

Major Responsibilities

• Ensure clinicians have the supplies and materials needed to provide patients with high-quality care.
• Read, follow, and execute tasks according to sequences defined by electronic or hard-copy instructions and established workflows.
• Receive products against purchase orders and verify quantities, condition, and quality.
• Accurately put away and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and product locations; perform cycle counts as needed.
• Pick and pack materials in an organized and logical manner in preparation for staging and delivery.
• Stage materials appropriately for loading and shipment to their final destination.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, racks, and workspaces are free of hazards and obstructions.
• Assist with the annual physical inventory process.
• Complete all job assignments accurately and without exception. Performance may be evaluated through periodic audits against established company standards.
