Job Description
A-Line Staffing is seeking experienced Material Handlers / Replenishers to support daily manufacturing operations at dsm-firmenich in Somerset, New Jersey. This role is ideal for candidates with forklift experience, warehouse or industrial experience, and inventory management skills.
Compensation
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Location: Somerset, NJ
Work Arrangement: On-site
Mid-Shift: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Work with production teams to maintain material availability and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Move and stage full drums, totes, and pallet loads of materials for production as needed.
- Remove empty drums and totes from production areas and transport them to designated recycling areas.
- Maintain raw material stations, including hot rooms, powder areas, dispensing drum areas, and manual-pour areas.
- Use inventory management systems to stage raw materials and support automated production equipment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels in bulk storage tanks and refill them as needed using portable pumps.
- Monitor and replenish day tanks by transporting materials and pumping raw materials into designated totes.
- Operate RFK scanners and inventory management systems to track materials.
- Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, drum lifts, and elevators, while following safety procedures.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas while following chemical-handling and powered-equipment safety requirements.

Qualifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of manufacturing or industrial work experience.
- At least 2 years of forklift operation and warehouse experience.
- Experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Working knowledge of inventory control systems.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to complete required physical fit testing.
- Ability to follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating material-handling equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP and RFT systems.
- Familiarity with inventory forecasting and material replenishment systems.
- Experience using RFK scanners and managing production material inventory.
