Job Description:
- The Material Handler Level 2 will safely operate equipment and support daily production and shipping activities. This position involves unloading materials, preparing products, packaging orders, and loading finished products for shipment.
- The role also includes transferring oil from tankers into totes, blending products, and maintaining a clean work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate mobile-powered equipment, including a forklift.
- Unload incoming materials and prepare products for processing.
- Transfer oil from tankers into totes.
- Fluidize and blend products according to site procedures.
- Package, stack, pick, and prepare products for shipment.
- Load finished products into trucks.
- Record material movements and other transactions in a computer system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all site safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Complete other material-handling duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience is required.
- Ability to safely operate mobile-powered equipment.
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Ability to complete basic computer transactions accurately.
- Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
- Availability to work second shift and possible Saturday overtime.
- Steel-toed, oil-resistant boots are required.
Personal Protective Equipment
- Workers must provide their own steel-toed, oil-resistant boots. Client will provide all other required personal protective equipment.
Onboarding Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete:
- Background check
- Drug test
- First come first. 1st candidate to clear the onboarding requirements, the client will take and schedule to start.
